Wireless Access Point Bridge

WAP100a wireless access point (wireless AP) is available with features specifically designed for the needs of industrial users, such as dual RF support for enhanced redunancy and reliability, Turbo Roaming for minimal switchover lag, waterproof housing and connectors. Standard features include LAN port, IEEE 802.11b/g operation, AP/bridge/client modes, and -35° to 70° operating temperatures.

The wireless AP usually connects to a router, and can relay data between the wireless devices (such as computers or printers) and wired devices on the network.

Industrial grade wireless AP is rugged, with a metal cover and a DIN rail mount. During operations they can tolerate a wider temperature range, high humidity and exposure to water, dust, and oil. Wireless security includes: WPA-PSK, WPA2, IEEE 802.1x/RADIUS, WDS, WEP, TKIP, and CCMP (AES) encryption. Unlike home consumer models, industrial wireless access points can also be used as a bridge, router, or a client.

The WAP100 wireless AP is a carrier class broadband radio supports data rate up to 300 Mbps by using the license free frequency bands. System caters for large bandwidth back haul transportation. Surge protected PoE and harden casing design enables the system for long distance transmission and working under extreme environment.

The WAP100 wireless AP is a point to point AP & Point to Multipoint AP working to setup point-to-point(PTP) or point to multipoint(PTMP) radio connection to relay the networks.

With 26dbi internal antenna, industrial design and tolerances, WAP100a wireless AP provide available good network replay long to 32kms.
